The only co-ed areas I know of are the fitness center and the lounge in the front desk area (which is the lounge shown in the first photo in the series of spa images on Encore's Web site). I went to the spa solo, but since you're going as a couple, you might want to know that just about all of the spa facilities are single-sex. With a treatment, you have access to the spa facilities all day. I had the 80-minute version of the treatment, and I felt great when it was done.Īfter the treatment, I might have used the facilities again, or I might have left. The treatment is mostly a massage. The hand, foot, and scalp treatments are just little massage enhancements that I might not even have noticed if I didn't know about them. I then waited on a chaise in the relaxation lounge, which was very comfortable and peaceful. Shortly before my treatment time, I took a shower. I did not use the dry sauna, steam room, or fitness center, but those amenities are all available. That area also has experience showers, which I enjoyed, and stone lounges.

I spent a lot of time in the warm and cold plunges and the hot whirlpools.

The wet area has skylights to let in natural light. It's big and well-designed so it feels very spacious. I always try to do that at spas because I like to spend a lot of time relaxing in the wet area. I arrived at least an hour and probably closer to two hours before my treatment. I loved the treatment, and the spa is the best I've been to anywhere. The Good Luck Ritual was the treatment I had at the Encore spa.
